Project overview
Hippocrates – a platform for postgraduate medical education, supported by the National Health University of Ukraine.
The main aim of Hippocrates is to train specialists as part of the continuing postgraduate education of doctors and pharmacists to improve the quality of patient care.
Challenges
The project didn’t have any technical documentation and was without an elementary unified approach to the development process.

The platform had lack of functionality, was not maintainable, and had complex issues with scalability.

Complex bugs with the data layer of the solution and core functional of the platform.

Weak project, analytical, and quality control management.
Solution
Redesign and complex refactoring of the backend for the platform with slight additions to the frontend part. We added and provided the whole documentation on each stage of software development.
We recreated the whole back-end and front-end part with the new structure and functionality and made a migration to Azure cloud infrastructure.
We created and configured a stable and reliable environment, and reduced the count of critical issues with zero downtime.
We added and implemented testing suite functionality to enable knowledge checks on the platform. Furthermore, we implemented platform control, statistics, and analytical services due to future improvements.
Results
Customer satisfaction score increased from 6.2 to 8.9.
Number of students increased up to 65% due to better platform capacity.
Our brand new digital solution helped owners to open new markets.
